What has been the most memorable moment in your musical career so far?

Playing my first gig, I was shit scared and had never sung any of my songs in front of anyone but my band until that point.

How has your music evolved since you first started as a band/singer?

About a year and a half ago I moved to the countryside and didn’t speak to anyone for over a year and wrote about 400 songs. I just more consistently have good ideas now.

How do you approach the challenge of staying original in a saturated industry?

I try and copy everyone at once instead of one person at a time.

⭐If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

Gorillaz/Damon Albarn. I love the idea that the Gorillaz is almost a forever-evolving collective instead of just a solo artist. I’d love my music to begin to take this shape but I haven’t found the right people yet!

If you were a type of… [musical instrument] you’d be…

A triangle.

❤️‍ What’s your favorite… [CD when you were a teenager] …short answer

What’s The Story (Morning Glory)? (1995) by Oasis.

Choose one question… [How much money would it take for you to open an Onlyfans?]

Choose the last question… [What was your first job?]

Dressed up as an apple with a beret on and gave out maps in a shopping center.

His musical journey is as intriguing as his sound. Well, and his home, an abandoned primary school. From a nerve-wracking first gig that marked his debut in front of an audience to the solitude of the countryside where he penned an impressive 400 songs, he’s never stopped evolving.

If you want to follow his social journey, you can find him on IG (@m4x.wav) and TikTok (@m4xinlondon).

We hope he continues to push the boundaries of traditional music genres to transform the modern music scene.
