Mrs. Robinson is one of those timeless songs that lends itself to so many different styles, I wanted the chance to add my voice to its canon. Listening to my father play Simon & Garfunkel tunes on his classical guitar as a child, I fell in love with the pair’s seemingly magical sense of harmony and infallible ability to write an absolutely banging chorus. In my teens I discovered The Lemonheads cover of this song, so perfectly capturing the angst of the ’90s, and I think that’s what inspired me to dress Mrs. Robinson in a camouflage more representative of our era of music.
